Graduation Invitation for Little Ones

The first part of planning a preschool graduation or a kindergarten graduation is the guest list. If possible, invite your child's entire class. Leaving out one or two kids can be very hurtful. Now if there were serious problems between your child and the other student leaving him or her off the guest list might be a good idea. You can also invite other kids of around the same age who might live in your neighborhood or who were students in a different class if you desire. Family members can also be invited, especially if you need more adult supervision for the kids, but watching 20 or more 4 and 5 year olds playing isn't going to be great fun for everyone.

When choosing kindergarten graduation invitations, choose something fun. You can find plenty of options online for cards that are cute and appropriate for this age group. Make sure to plan ahead and get contact information for all of the parents well before the end of the school year. Graduation party invitations should be mailed about two weeks before the actual date of the party. Be sure to include an RSVP phone number or return card so you'll know who plans to attend and can make sure to have enough food and seating for everyone. Plus, you'll be able to find out if the parents will also be attending.

Before the Preschool Graduation Cards are Mailed

You'll also need to choose a location for the event before sending out kindergarten graduation cards . For example, the park could be a good choice, especially if there is a playground and/or pool available. Make sure to have supervision for all activities and to let parents know in the graduation announcement wording whether additional money will be needed for certain optional activities.

Another idea is to schedule the party at any of the businesses which specialize in these events, such as Chuck E. Cheese. You may want to call around for estimates before you decide on one of these locations. The nice thing for you is these locations handle all of the clean up, usually provide refreshments, and will keep the kids entertained. If you are going to one of these locations, make sure the preschool kindergarten graduation cards spell out the location, starting and ending times for the party, and what will be included in the party package. For example, if pizza will be served you don't want the guests to have already eaten lunch before arriving.

Finally, consider printing off some kindergarten certificates to pass out to each graduating student at the party as a way to celebrate their preschool kindergarten graduation.
